Hey friends…I hope that this letter finds you
doing well!
I’ve just completed 3 years on the ground in
Zambia and can’t believe all that the Lord has taught me and allowed me to be a
part of while serving with Lifesong.
It has been so amazing to watch how the Lord used
each of you to help me GO, partnering with me to do this work. Now that I have passed the 3-year mark, and
the original funds have been depleted, I have found that I still have a short
fall in the account that helps me continue to stay in Zambia. I am about $6,000 short of making my budget
at this time. I am in need of your help
and assistance in order to be able to continue to have the finances I need to
stay in Zambia.
I am hoping and praying that you might be able to
help in one of two ways. The first,
which is the most important part: prayer.
Will you pray for the ministry that the Lord has called me to serve? These children, the nationals, and fellow
missionaries here, we all live in community with one another. It’s a pleasure to live life with these
people, and I get to share Christ on almost a daily basis.
The second way you can help is financially. Currently, I need both one-time gifts and
ongoing monthly support. Any one-time
gifts will help me to immediately reduce the shortfall where I have found
myself. I cannot stay in this shortfall
long, so please consider making a one-time gift.
The next financial need I have is regarding
monthly support. If you have the ability
to become a monthly donor, or even increase a little, please consider
partnering with me in this way. My
monthly support is about $250 below where it needs to be. These monthly donations help to pay my
monthly “salary” and basic needs while here with Lifesong. In addition to meeting my needs, I also spend
a significant amount of money on the kids at Lifesong School. Many of the older students don’t have
families or resources to provide basic food and other hygiene items, beyond
what Lifesong provides. When school is
closed (3 months of the year), I really stretch myself to provide for these
special kids. If you follow me on
Facebook, you’ll see the teenagers that the Lord has allowed me to mentor here.
If you are giving monthly already, thank you! Seeing your names on my spreadsheet each
month is such an encouragement! I know
the only reason I am able to stay is because of your faithfulness!
Asking for money is never easy….and I sure wish I
was able to do this face to face….but the Lord is faithful and I know that he
will continue to provide for the calling He has placed on my life! Will you be a part of that provision? You can believe me when I say that I would
not ask, if I was not in need.
I love y’all and hope to see you during my next
visit home……or…..if you come here!
